Irving Pike, MD. CMO of John Muir Health (Walnut Creek, Calif.). Dr. Pike became CMO of John Muir Health in 2012. Previously, he practiced gastroenterology in Virginia and spent 12 years as a physician executive with Sentara Healthcare, a nonprofit health system based in Norfolk, Va. He is president and director of the Gastroenterology Quality Improvement Consortium, a data collection consortium, and sits on the American College of Gastroenterology’s board of trustees. Dr. Pike received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
