Gov. Phil Bryan signed the bill into law, which allows the 141-bed hospital’s building and land to be sold to UMMC after it has undergone two appraisals. Officials from Grenada County, which currently owns the facility, have reached a tentative agreement with UMMC to manage the hospital, according to the report.
