The proposed 164-bed StoneSpring Medical Center is expected to cost $195 million to build.
HCA has been trying to win approval for the hospital for more than a year. Inova Health System, who operates a competing facility in the county, opposed the new facility, but announced that it would not oppose the state’s most recent decision, according to the report.
