Hamilton Medical Center (Dalton, Ga.). Located in northwestern Georgia, roughly 30 miles southeast of Chattanooga, Tenn., Hamilton Medical Center is a 282-bed regional referral hospital that was founded in 1921. In 2015, Truven Health Analytics recognized the medical center with the Everest Award and named it a 100 Top Hospital for the third time. Hamilton is also a 2015 iVantage HealthStrong Top Hospital.
