Florida Hospital Relocating, Changing Name

Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial in Daytona Beach, Fla., will relocate to a larger facility and will be renamed Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, according to a report by the News-Journal.

The transition to the new 277-bed facility has been in planning for more than 18 months. Several non-clinical departments within the hospital have already moved into the new facility.

Florida Hospital Memorial Medical center is the second largest hospital built in the state in the last 10 years, according to the report.
