Evanston (Ill.) Hospital. Opened in 1891, Evanston Hospital is the flagship facility for the Evanston-based NorthShore University HealthSystem. For 2015, 2016 and 2017, Healthgrades recognized the hospital with both the America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Stroke Care Award and the Neurosciences Excellence Award.
