Consultants to Run Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in California After Key Executives Leave

An as-yet unnamed consulting group will run Santa Clara Valley (Calif.) Medical Center, following the departures of the director of the hospital and the CEO of its health system, according to a report by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.

County Executive Jeffrey Smith, MD, said the consultants would “help to stabilize the administrative structure” of the 574-bed hospital.
