Christ Hospital (Cincinnati). The Christ Hospital Joint & Spine Center houses the spine care and neurosurgery offerings of the hospital. It features 87 private patient rooms, 12 operating rooms and occupational and speech therapy services, among other features. The center has earned Magnet-designated Christ Hospital national recognition, as CareChex ranked the hospital in the top 50 nationally for spinal surgery, and it is also a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery. Christ Hospital is the only hospital in the region to offer a treatment to reduce the risk of Afib-related stroke without using blood thinners, and Healthgrades has given Christ Hospital its Stroke Care Excellence Award every year since 2014.
