Hospital; the vice president is Kevin Hovan, president and CEO of Southcoast Health System in New Bedford, Mass.; the clerk is Christine Schuster, president and CEO of Emerson Hospital in Concord, Mass.; and the treasurer is Michael Lauf, president and CEO of Cape Cod Healthcare in Hyannis, Mass.
MCCH advocates for the advancement of community medicine and community hospitals. The council consists of 23 community hospitals throughout the state.
