Aspirus Grand View Hospital (Ironwood, Mich.). Aspirus Grand View Hospital was established in 1923 and has served the people of Upper Michigan and northern Wisconsin ever since. The hospital includes a surgical center, two clinic locations (one in Ironwood and another in Hurley, Wis.), a home health service and an eye and optical center. Nationally, the hospital ranks highly among its critical access hospital peers, as iVantage Health Analytics has placed Aspirus Grand View on its list of Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals twice, most recently in 2015, and the National Rural Health Association also named it a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital this year.
