AMA Launches Online Community for Physicians With Managed Care Contracts

The American Medical Association has launched an online discussion community — the Cutting-edge Contracting Group — to help physicians, practice staff and contract experts connect and share tips and resources about contracting with managed care organizations.

The new private discussion group adds to AMA’s other resources for managed care, including the AMA Practice Management Center, which provides physicians with resources to evaluate and negotiate payment options, and AMA’s National Managed Care Contract database.
