AHA Releases Resources to Help Hospitals Implement Health Reform

The American Hospital has released a number of resources through its Hospitals in Pursuit of Excellence initiative to assist hospital leaders in performance improvement and implementing other changes as part of health reform efforts, according to a report by AHA News Now.

The resources include guides and toolkits on a number of issues related to reform, including governance and organizational effectiveness, how to implement electronic health records and lessons from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ demonstration project on the effect of bundling Medicare Part A and B payments for episodes of care, according to the report.
