AHA Eliminates Four Positions as Part of Organizational Changes

Four positions from the American Hospital Association’s Advocacy and Public Policy group will be eliminated as part of “ongoing organizational changes to offset financial losses and reduce expenses in these tough economic times,” according to an AHA news release.

Among those being let go are Jim Bentley, senior vice president for strategic policy planning, and Rick Wade, senior vice president for strategic communications, who will leave the AHA Oct. 30 after serving around 18 years each for AHA, according to the release. Two other support staff positions were also eliminated.
