Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Begins $40M Expansion

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill., has broken ground on a $40 million expansion project, according to a Daily Herald report.

The project will include expansion of the emergency department, level 1 trauma center and the surgery department. It will include the addition of seven general treatment stations to the ED and two operating rooms to the surgery department.

Construction is slated to be complete by early 2015, according to the report.
