Dr. Mark Talavera Named VP of Hospital Medicine at CEP America

Mark Talavera, MD, officially started his tenure as CEP America’s vice president of hospital medicine.

Dr. Talavera, a specialist in pulmonary and critical care medicine, will also serve as chief clinical officer of Galen Inpatient Physicians, a hospitalist group that is part of CEP America.

Dr. Talavera, who received his MD from the University of California Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento, will oversee the clinical operations of Galen and will facilitate the integration of physician services across CEP America’s acute-care continuum.
