Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center Creates GI Center of Excellence

Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston announced the creation of a new Digestive Disease Center offering gastrointestinal and hepatology treatment.

The GI Center of Excellence was created by combining the hospital’s existing Digestive Disease Center and Texas Liver Center. The 22,000-square-foot, outpatient facility is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of specialists in affiliation with the University of Texas Health Medical School in Houston.

The center offers medical and surgical treatment for diseases of the esophagus, stomach, intestine, pancreas, biliary tract and liver.
