The company said it expected about $1 billion of its year-end revenue estimate to come from its BetterHelp mental health app, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Teladoc’s projections issued in its third-quarter earnings report were for fourth-quarter revenue of $625 million to $640 million and full-year revenue of $2.39 billion to $2.41 billion.
In turn, Teladoc shares were up 6.8 percent on Jan. 9 after the guidance was released.
