The telemedicine startup offers hospitals and health systems a white-label version of its virtual care management platform. In May, the American Academy of Pediatrics selected SnapMD as a preferredtelemedicine provider, and in July the University of San Diego Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science said it would use SnapMD’s platform as the foundation for its telehealth curriculum.
SnapMD plans to expand its sales and marketing efforts with the recent funding, along with continuing to build on its telemedicine platform.
“The new investment allows us to continue to further drive our marketing and business development efforts in support of our rapidly growing provider base across the country,” Dave Skibinski, president and CEO of SnapMD, said in a news release.
