For its Physicians of Virtual Care 2019 report, Doctor on Demand surveyed nearly 100 of its employed physicians on factors including burnout and reasons for choosing virtual care.
Three survey insights:
1. Seventy percent of Doctor on Demand physicians said they chose to work with the company for their ability to work remotely.
2. Seventy-five percent of Doctor on Demand physicians are female. Of the company’s female physicians, 72 percent are mothers.
3. Most Doctor on Demand physicians (69.2 percent) are parents.
