1. Warehousing and storage companies added 9,400 jobs in January, reports WSJ.
3. Couriers, including companies delivering packages from online sales, cut 7,400 positions following the busy holiday season.
4. Trucking companies cut 1,400 jobs from December to January and rail operators cut another 600 positions, according to the report.
5. The U.S. manufacturing sector added 5,000 jobs in January.
