VHA SupplyNetworks Form MidAtlantic Purchasing Coalition

Two VHA SupplyNetworks have consolidated to form the Mid-Atlantic Purchasing Coalition representing 26 New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia healthcare organizations.

MAPC has also been joined by nine New York hospitals from the Empire-Metro Sourcing Collaborative.

The hospitals expect to achieve savings on supplies, pharmaceuticals and other items and services from the network merger.

Combined spending on the part of the supply network is $3.2 billion, according to a news release.
