1. Mr. McNally stepped into his new role Jan. 1.
2. He succeeds interim CEO John Barker, who will stay with the company as a director.
3. Prior to his role at Titan Medical, Mr. McNally founded Domain Surgical and served as president, CEO and chairman of the board for the Salt Lake City-based company. In 2016, Domain Surgical merged with the flexible laser company OmniGuide.
4. Mr. McNally also served as the co-founder, president and CEO of the device maker ZEVEX, which was acquired by Moog in 2007.
5. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa., and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
6. Mr. McNally is the co-inventor of more than 30 patents ferromagnetic surgical devices and systems, electromagnetic and ultrasonic sensors and medical fluid delivery systems.
