Steward Health Care taps HealthTrust for GPO

Steward Health Care in Boston selected HealthTrust as its exclusive group purchasing organization.

Under terms of the agreement, HealthTrust will provide spend management solutions and broader supply chain management services, such as custom sourcing, purchased services and item master services.

“The savings we secure with this agreement will accelerate our aspirations of building a world-class supply chain operation,” said John Polanowicz, executive vice president of Steward Health Care’s hospital service group. “We are eager to realize significant savings and to benefit from HealthTrust’s operator perspective in shaping our total spend management agenda.”
