The 160,000 square-foot facility will allow Sugar Land, Texas-based QuVa Pharma to expand its services to hospitals in the eastern half of the U.S.
The company currently owns two FDA-approved manufacturing facilities in Texas.
QuVa Pharma plans to hire more than 100 employees once the facility is operational in mid-2017.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
