Premier to gain 54 hospitals in new partnership

AllSpire Health GPO, a regional group purchasing organization based in Pennsylvania, selected Premier to support its annual $3.5 billion purchasing volume, the companies announced Aug. 20.

With the agreement, AllSpire Health GPO’s 54 acute care hospital members will become Premier members, effective January 2025. Premier said in a news release it will help AllSpire’s regional contract portfolio with an emphasis on local market dynamics.

The financial effect of the agreement was not disclosed.
