Ten hospitals and health systems posted job listings for supply chain expertise in the last week:

Deployment of rapid COVID-19 antigen tests to facilities around the country has been hindered by poor communication, false results and a lack of planning, state leaders told The Washington Post. 

The FDA has granted emergency authorization to Hologic's COVID-19 test to treat asymptomatic people. 

The regulatory compliance process can be cumbersome. The paperwork is costly, takes up valuable space, and logs often vary between employees. Implementing an electronic solution addresses all these problems and decreases the amount of work around compliance surveys.

HHS said Sept. 28 that the federal government will begin distributing millions of Abbott's rapid COVID-19 tests to states this week. Governors are allowed to use the tests as they see fit, but HHS is encouraging them to prioritize schools.
