Novant Health Matthews Medical Center to Open $19M Addition

Novant Health Matthews (N.C.) Medical Center will open its $19 million addition — an additional floor — Sept. 27, according to a report by The Charlotte Observer.

The new 26,000-square-foot fifth floor adds 23 beds to the medical center. The intensive care unit and intermediate care wing will also be relocated to the new floor, according to the report.
