Medline has launched Mpower, a cloud-based platform designed to help healthcare providers predict and respond to supply chain disruptions.

The platform serves as a “digital control tower,” combining supply and demand data, predictive analytics and workflow automation to identify at-risk products and streamline substitution and approval processes, according to a May 4 news release.

Mpower includes an AI chat tool that allows users to query data, explore product alternatives and manage workflows within the system. It integrates with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure to support deployment and data security.

The platform was tested with 10 U.S. health systems, with early data showing more than 50% efficiency gains in order substitution workflows compared to a five- to seven-day baseline, according to the release.

Medline said the tool will roll out in phases throughout 2026.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
