Medline has begun piloting its AI-powered supply chain platform, Mpower, with 10 health systems in the U.S.

Built in collaboration with Microsoft, Mpower is a cloud-based “digital control tower.”. The platform uses real-time data and predictive analytics to help providers anticipate and respond to supply chain disruptions, according to a Feb. 25 news release. It features an AI chat agent powered by Microsoft Copilot and Azure to streamline workflows, surface at-risk items and assist with clinical approvals.

The pilot group includes Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System; The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus; ProMedica in Toledo, Ohio; and UCHealth in Aurora, Colo., along with four additional health systems. The organizations have helped Medline test and refine the platform since fall 2025.

A broader rollout of Mpower will begin in phases this spring, with initial implementations expected by May and additional capabilities planned through 2026, according to the release.
