Medline will install more than 2,400 solar panels at its distribution center in Perryville, Md., for $2.37 million, the company said May 2.
The medical supplier and distributor said the project is its 11th solar installation, adding to the existing 60,000 solar panels on its facilities and more than $34 million in investments.
The Perryville project is expected to compensate for 46% of the 1.1-million-square-foot site’s electrical usage. Medline said installation should be complete in spring 2025.
