Leica Microsystems adds Angstrom Scientific as new distribution partner

Leica Microsystems, a German producer of microscopes and scientific instruments, partnered with Ramsey, N.J.-based Angstrom Scientific to expand its market presence in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the U.S.

Angstrom Scientific provides distribution services for a number of leading companies in the nanotechnology and life science markets.

The company will act as Leica Microsystem’s exclusive distributor of Industrial EM Sample Preparation Solutions in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Angstrom Scientific will also distribute the products on a non-exclusive basis in 14 other states on the East Coast.

Further terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
