The acquisition will expand Louisville, Colo.-based GHX’s financial products portfolio, providing a larger amount of payment options to customers.

Hap-X’s payment exchange will allow providers and suppliers to select the most effective payment method for their relationship.

The payment exchange also enables providers and suppliers to combine payment, remittance and reconciliation information to produce operational efficiencies for both parties.

“The acquisition by GHX allows Hap-X customers, both providers and suppliers, to do business with a partner who can help solve even more of their supply chain and payment management problems, while improving their total cost and operational performance,” said Mike Carmody, president and CEO of Omaha-Neb.-based Hap-X.
