GE Healthcare and Nvidia have launched a collaboration to develop AI-powered autonomous X-ray and ultrasound technologies, with an aim to address growing radiology staff shortages and improve imaging efficiency.
The partnership will leverage Nvidia’s AI computing platforms to enhance imaging automation, according to a March 18 news release from GE Healthcare.
The AI-enabled systems are designed to assist with image capture and analysis to potentially reduce the workload of radiologists and technicians.
