Tallahassee (Fla.) Memorial HealthCare has entered into a multi-year agreement with Inspirity Health Partners to expand and integrate its supply chain operations.
The collaboration is designed to improve financial performance, reduce administrative burden and strengthen alignment between supply chain strategy and clinical operations while preserving the health system’s local governance and decision-making authority, according to a May 28 news release from Inspirity.
Tallahassee Memorial said the partnership will expand support across strategic sourcing, purchased services optimization, analytics and clinical-supply integration.
Under the partnership, Tallahassee Memorial will also gain access to Mayo Clinic Supply Chain Management resources. Inspirity Health Partners is a joint venture between HumanityCorp and Mayo Clinic Supply Chain Management. Through a co-management agreement, Inspirity functions as an extension of Mayo Clinic’s supply chain operations, managing sourcing-to-payment processes and giving member hospitals access to contract portfolios through Captis and Vizient.
