The facility is part of an $88 million investment from the company that involves the construction of two facilities, the first being the manufacturing, warehouse and distribution facility.
The company expects the facility to be operational by the end of the first quarter of 2022, Fox 43 reported. It said the facility “will help optimize logistics in the Northeast region for a leading life sciences and pharmaceutical company.”
“Life sciences and healthcare logistics is complex with no margin for error, given the life-sustaining and lifesaving nature of the equipment and supplies moving through our supply chains,” Scott Cubbler, DHL Supply Chain’s president of life sciences and healthcare, told Fox 43.
