The center, created by the consumer advocacy group Americas Watchdog, is encouraging employees in the pharmaceutical industry to report any unsanitary conditions they see in drug manufacturing plants.
While unsanitary production lines pose a serious threat to patients, the government struggles to provide the amount of oversight needed to enforce clean manufacturing plants, the CWC said in a news release.
Employees can report unsanitary conditions by calling CWC’s main phone number.
