The Children’s Hospital Association has expanded its agreement with Vizient to strengthen support for pediatric hospitals navigating financial and operational pressures.

Under the renewed partnership, CHA members will continue to receive core supply chain services and gain access to additional tools, including benchmarking analytics, pharmacy enterprise support and capital spend insights, according to a Jan. 26 news release. Vizient will also provide expertise in cell and gene therapy readiness and expand consulting for acute and nonacute care.

The new offerings build on existing services such as data management, supply analytics and aggregated purchasing through CHA’s Pediatric Alliance.

CHA supply chain leaders said the agreement aims to help member hospitals manage cost and improve efficiency amid growing complexity in pediatric care delivery.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
