Carson City, Nev.-based Carson Tahoe Health has expanded its prime vendor agreement with Medline to include lab distribution.
The agreement, signed in August, transitions distribution for a core lab in Carson City and a second location in Minden, Nev., to Medline. The vendor will support daily consumables and major equipment for the labs, according to a Dec. 2 news release from Medline.
Carson Tahoe Health previously used Medline for medical-surgical distribution. The expanded agreement consolidates supply operations across both areas and aims to enable more frequent product deliveries from Medline’s Tracy, Calif., warehouse.
