Baxter recalls ventilator products

Baxter is recalling its Volara System Single Patient Use Circuits and Blue Ventilator Adapters because of connectivity issues, the FDA said Sept. 4.

The products are circuit components used to connect the ventilator and the Volara System, which is an oscillation and lung expansion therapy device. Zero injuries or deaths have been reported, the FDA said.
