Banner taps chief supply chain officer from Sharp

Ryan Koos was appointed senior vice president and chief supply chain officer at Phoenix-based Banner Health, effective June 16.

Mr. Koos joins Banner Health with more than 22 years of leadership experience in healthcare supply chain management, according to a health system news release.

Most recently, he served as vice president and chief supply chain officer at Sharp Health Care in San Diego.

Mr. Koos also previously served as a senior sourcing specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Banner Health operates in six states with more than 55,000 employees.
