Medical devicemaker B. Braun has renamed its OEM division B. Braun Pharma & MedTech Partner, emphasizing its role as a contract manufacturing and development partner to pharmaceutical and medical technology companies.

The rebrand reflects a push to more directly support pharma and medtech customers with outsourced components, assemblies and procedure kits, particularly as demand grows for scalable manufacturing and faster product commercialization, according to a March 3 news release from the company.

The division will continue operating within B. Braun, which has operations in 64 countries.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
