Here are three things to know.
1. The exploratory team, once comprised of seven to eight people, now contains 30 to 40, an unnamed former senior Amazon employee told Leerink researchers.
2. Amazon’s latest healthcare hire was Martin Levine, MD, a Seattle-based geriatrician who specializes in unique patient care models. The company was also lookingto hire a HIPAA compliance lead as of mid-January.
3. Leerink believes Amazon’s pharmacy entrance is a matter of “when,” not “if,” according to the report.
