Minneapolis-based Allina Health has signed a prime vendor agreement with Medline.

The agreement gives the 12-hospital, 90-plus-clinic system, serving Minnesota and western Wisconsin, access to Medline’s medical-surgical product portfolio for its hospital and physician office sites, along with Medline’s distribution capabilities to streamline ordering and improve delivery reliability, according to a July 8 news release.

“Selecting Medline as our distribution partner strengthens supply reliability and consistency while giving our teams the tools and support they need to continue delivering exceptional care throughout all the communities we serve,” Joshua Grulke, system director of Allina Health Supply Chain Operations, said in the release.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
