Accuray, Premier enter radiation therapy solutions contract

Charlotte, N.C.-based Premier has awarded Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Accuray a group purchasing agreement for its radiation therapy products.

The three-year contract will provide Premier's GPO members access to Accuray's CyberKnife M6 and TomoTherapy HAD product portfolios.

"Our goal is to help healthcare providers to offer the best treatment option for their patients," said Kelly Londy, executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Accuray. "The Premier agreement is important because it enables us to partner with a large sales force that has long-standing relationships with hospital-based clinicians and administrators to significantly increase visibility of the CyberKnife and TomoTherapy Systems."
