5 latest FDA approvals

Here are the five latest drugs and medical devices approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

1.The AirMini is a small, portable continuous positive airway pressure device for patients with sleep apnea.

2. Charlotte, N.C.-based SonaCare Medical released a new version of its Sonablate device, intended for use in the focused ablation of prostate tissue.

3. Arymo ER is an extended-release form of morphine intended to prevent abuse by those seeking to dissolve and inject the drug.

4. The FDA approved the first generic version of Jazz Pharmaceutical's narcolepsy drug Xyrem.

5. Vantrelatmer is a long-term opioid treatment for severe pain that contains several abuse-deterrent qualities.
