3 children’s hospitals join Premier’s pediatric alliance

Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., Children’s Hospital of Richmond (Va.) at VCU and Virginia Children’s Care Network recently joined Premier’s pediatric-focused purchasing group.

Boston Children’s Hospital helped found the alliance, called Kiindo, to work with Premier and member children’s hospitals to mitigate supply chain disruptions in pediatric care as “some critical products have only one supplier capable of producing the necessary pediatric-specific equipment and supplies,” Premier said in a June 13 news release.
