Rebecca Segal. CEO of Rutherford Regional Health System (Rutherfordton, N.C.). Ms. Segal began her tenure as CEO of Rutherford Regional Health System, which includes a 143-bed hospital and a team of approximately 700 clinical and support staff, in January 2017 with a 15 years of experience in healthcare administration. She previously served as COO of Somerset, Ky.-based Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, where she established a Patient and Family Advisory Council designed to promote patient feedback. While earning her graduate degree from Richmond-based Virginia Commonwealth University, she received the 2010 Herman L. Mullins Award for Outstanding Management Study.
