U.S. News & World Report released its debut ratings Aug. 12 for the best GLP-1 telehealth platforms, its first evaluation of the online companies prescribing brand-name weight loss drugs.
The media company rated 20 platforms offering FDA-approved, brand-name GLP-1 medications, including Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic and Foundayo, according to an Aug. 12 news release. Companies that offer only compounded GLP-1s were excluded, and for platforms selling both, U.S. News evaluated only the branded portion of the business.
Platforms were rated on a 5-point scale using 14,161 data points and six weighted pillars: clinical support, screening rigor, transparency, insurance assistance, supplemental care and customer satisfaction, according to the release. Consumer data came from a survey of 1,251 U.S. adults who had used a GLP-1 from an online platform in the past 12 months, conducted by PureSpectrum between May and July, according to the published methodology. U.S. News set the cutoff for its “best” designation at the largest natural drop-off in the scoring distribution, which separated the top 11 platforms from the rest.
Eleven platforms were rated “best,” listed here with their U.S. News rating:

- Mochi Health: 4.4
- Ro: 4.4
- Noom: 4.3
- PlushCare: 4.1
- Fridays: 4.0
- Ivim Health: 4.0
- LifeMD: 4.0
- Remedy Meds: 3.9
- WeightWatchers: 3.9
U.S. News noted that ratings are rounded to the nearest tenth and that matching displayed scores do not indicate an actual tie.
U.S. News also named top performers in four categories: Amazon One Medical for insurance support, Found for clinical support, Noom for supplemental support and Ro for customer satisfaction.
