Texas Health Resources includes 19 acute care hospitals, five short-stay hospitals, two behavioral health hospitals, two rehabilitation hospitals and one transitional care hospital. Last year the health system created a jointly owned health plan with Aetna focused on improving quality, affordability and consumer experience.
