Texas Health Resources (Arlington). Texas Health Resources includes 19 acute care hospitals, five short-stay hospitals, two behavioral health hospitals, two rehabilitation hospitals and one transitional care hospital. The 23,000-employee system also has more than 100 outpatient facilities and 5,500 physicians with active staff privileges. Last year the health system created a jointly owned health plan with Aetna focused on improving quality, affordability and consumer experience. The health system also participates in seven ACOs with commercial and Medicare payers covering more than 200,000 lives
